Its hard being a spazz
It's true baby! I don't really like freaking out about things all the time. I don't like snapping at coworkers when they don't know what to say to customers, I don't like driving around like a maniac to get somewhere on time regardless of how habitually late I am and how little 2 minutes is.
Two days ago I spazzed hard, yesterday was the relief. For every spazz reaction there is an equal and opposite spazz reaction (dingle check my work). To compensate for a day of BULLSHIT two days ago, yesterday i rode my mountain bike (yay). I fucking rode myself into the ground! My knee hasn't blown up yet, but it's giving me the poo eye. The "i know you stretched your shit out yesterday after the ride and iced it and showered and foam rolled it, but your not getting off that easy" poo eye. I also am either getting sick from lack of sleep, hanging out with 4 different people with head/chest colds, or i have perhaps the wussiest strain of the dreaded kilo cough. I rode up Iron Gate yesterday and was sucking so much wind that maybe i inhaled a nest of bees, causing my throat and chest discomfort, maybe it was asbestos in the air from the Irish Center.
In other news, people have started camping frick park. They're hiding spot was not that good. I am torn because i want to go camp out on the slags and have a fire one night, but its kinda weird and off putting that Dudebrah was camping out in his "nestled cove" next to the family and the field trip of kids in the 9 mile run sewage run off creek looking for any type of life form that may live in water. Don't get me wrong, i have spent the better part of my youth riding my bike to places that had aquatic life in runoff (or as we found out, didn't have aquatic life). Maybe it just comes from knowing the park well, that there are places that are great to hide out at (countless acreage of tree cover) and there are very visible areas to many of the parks patrons but more importantly park maintanence.
In other news, I am in this dilema about the c crit on tuesday. I usually poo poo at the thought of driving to the crit. The race is close, warming up is good, yadda yadda. In addition to worrying about my knee in racing, I'm worried about riding there , getting all banged up, and nursing that shit up the hill back home! I sorta don't feel ready for the crit, but they just get faster and faster all summer, so if i can get out there and hold on now, perhaps i could get away with racing regularly? Its a thought.

If you drive to the track I will kick you in the balls. You have been warned.
When my knee was messed up I would drive to the race for that same reason. Maybe if it weren't uphill all the way home it wouldn't be an issue, but that's not good for a knee injury. I had to make all kinds of wussy compromises back then, just do what you got to do to get healed.
ride to the track and sit in for the entire race.
then come to rothrock in two weeks for a weekend of recovery beer from ottos.
